About Me

  Hey. This is me. Riley Wayne Shay. The first thing you should know about me is that I have 5 brothers and 1 sister. You can learn all about them in my family page.

Another important thing is I am extremely picky with what I eat. Now, it's not a diet but it's a taste bud issue. I hate tomatoes and anything involved with tomatoes (excluding pizza). I hate many foods, some of which are mayonnaise, baked beans, cottage cheese, lettuce, Ranch dressing, mustard, and did I mention tomatoes?

  And, as you can tell from the picture(If it looks like I have glasses, I don't), I enjoy hunting. I like deer hunting but pheasant hunting is my favorite. However, I don't like fishing very much. It's ok, but it gets kind of boring. You can probably tell that I'm not the most patient guy.


 This year and last year I've played football, basketball, wrestling, and track in the St.Francis Junior High. Last year and so far this year my favorite sport has been basketball. By the way, I am 14 years old and in 8th grade.

 

My favorite football team is the Miami Dolphins. Now, I live in Kansas so you're probably wondering why my favorite team is from Florida. I'll explain. When I was young I thought football was a total waste of time. I hated it. Then one evening I saw a Dolphins vs Raiders game and my parents are Broncos fans (Broncos and Raiders are rivals) so they were cheering for the Dolphins. Well, the Dolphins won 14-10 due to a last minute touchdown by Chris Chambers. So ever since they've been my favorite team.

I don't have a favorite basketball team yet, but I'm thinking about it. And I hate baseball. It's ok if I'm playing it-but I absolutely cannot stand watching it.

My favorite books are the Bible, the Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, Do Hard Things, & I Kissed Dating Goodbye. I hate anything with romance and I like action/mystery/adventure books. My favorite band is Casting Crowns and they have a ton of awesome songs. Some of which are Until the Whole World Hears, Voice of Truth, What If His People Prayed, If We Are the Body, Who Am I, & American Dream. That's just the tip of the iceberg.

I also play guitar and I'm going to teach my younger siblings when their hands actually get big enough.
