Zephaniah 3:17

"The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing."

Ecclesiasties 11: 1-6

1 Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. 2 Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth. 3 If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth , there it shall be . 4 He that observeth the wind shall not sow ; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap . 5 As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all. 6 In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper , either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

Mark 13: 5-37 KJV

5And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
6For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
7And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
8For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in diverse places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
9But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
10And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
11But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
12Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
13And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
15And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
16And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
17But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
18And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
19For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
20And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
21And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
22For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
23But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
24But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
26And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
28Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
29So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
30Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
31Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Pirate Joke. . .

A pirate walks into a bar and the bartender says, "Hey, I haven't seen you in a while. What happened, you look terrible!"
"What do you mean?" the pirate replies, "I'm fine."
The bartender says, "But what about that wooden leg? You didn't have that before."
"Well," says the pirate, "We were in a battle at sea and a cannon ball hit my leg but the surgeon fixed me up, and I'm fine, really."
"Yeah," says the bartender, "But what about that hook? Last time I saw you, you had both hands."
"Well," says the pirate, "We were in another battle and we boarded the enemy ship. I was in a sword fight and my hand was cut off but the surgeon fixed me up with this hook, and I feel great, really."
"Oh," says the bartender, "What about that eye patch? Last time you were in here you had both eyes."
"Well," says the pirate, "One day when we were at sea, some birds were flying over the ship. I looked up, and one of them pooped in my eye."
"So?" replied the bartender, "what happened? You couldn't have lost an eye just from some bird poop!"
"Well," says the pirate, "That was my first day with the hook."

Ryder and his wee little friends. . .

First I will explain to you what his wee little friends are. They are called Hexbug Nanos and they basically have a mind of their own. The little, tiny machine inside it causes it to vibrate, which causes the rubberish legs to bend backward, propelling our little buddies forward. :)
So we put our Nanos in a pan so they can't escape and Ryder came crawling along. He was fascinated. And he started picking them up and putting them back in their little homes.
  You are under arrest!!
  Into the jailhouse!! ;)
Here is what they look like up close.

Is that a turkey?!?

So me and Reid were doing our schoolwork this morning and Reid just happened to look out the window. Guess what he saw? Yep, a turkey. With a milk jug on his head. lol It was one of Kailey's homemade bird feeders and she must not have used strong enough string.
So I went outside and took these pictures. Then I slowly crept up and grabbed onto the handle. He popped his head right out!! :D lol

Snow Birds!!

Ok, Kailey set up this bird feeder right outside the window to our office. Which makes it easy to snap photos without scaring them away.
  I think this one is a sparrow. . .
 And this one. . .
  Get out of here!! :)
 Should I jump?

Snow Day!!

This is a little pine tree we planted last fall. I think it looks cool with the snow on it.
I love this picture. The dog's name is Red Man and he was in mid-stride when I shot this one.
Ok, this summer a weed grew inside this tree. I forgot to take a picture of it so I figured this would be even better. :)
This is Cheyenne. Can you see the snow coming down?
And here is Jessie. She only has one good eye due to a dog fight but the one you see is her good one. She is a Corgie and the other dogs are Border Collies.

Test Baby!

Ok, I was really disappointed in the Steelers performance this Sunday. But Green Bay did a good job too so I guess they deserve it. But this was my favorite commercial. It made me laugh so hard I cried! Mom thinks it's cruel and all you girls will probably agree with her, but, nevertheless, I got a kick out of it! :D And remember it was a test baby. If he were real I'd agree with mom but. . .it isn't so I don't. :) Tell me what you think!

Ryder yet again. . .

So Mom had just taken the muffins out of the oven when guess who crawled up on the chair. They were supposed to be pumpkin muffins, but Mom said if you use squash you can't taste the difference. I haven't tried them yet so I don't know if I believe her.
He'd just take one piece at a time and stuff it in his mouth. :D
I guess he got impatient. :)
   Look at his eyes. :D
I have no clue what on earth he's doing so don't ask. :D

Sunrise. . .

Here is a picture of the sunrise one morning. You can see the bird in Kailey's feeder to the right. I don't know if you can tell but I took it though the window. :) I was really cold outside.
This is Reid with his nose in a book. You can probably tell just by his name that he enjoys reading. ;)
